If you manage to Convince our founder Cécile, to take on a new intern even if she actually decided to have an intern to upcoming period, you must have done something very good. We are very happy and pleased to introduce you to our latest new family member: Johanna Ramächers, let her introduce herself to you!

Hello, I am Johanna Ramächers, 22 years old and from today on the new face at `Wandering the Future`. As a trainee, I will be researching the latest trends, working and preparing many great projects, the upcoming months.

I was born and raised in a small city in Germany, close to the Dutch border. After graduating from high school, I lived out my passion for traveling and diverse cultures, while working as a flight attendant. During this time I got the opportunity to meet a lot of people. I love hearing about people’s stories about their life, what influences people in their behavior and how they make decisions easy or harder ones.

I am a third-year Bachelor student in ´International Trend research and concept development in Lifestyle ` at the Academy of Creative Industries ( Fontys), Tilburg.

As a young trend researcher, I am always looking for the latest Signals of change. May it be in the online world or offline wherever I go. I like to see an opportunity in every situation and believe that for every problem there is a solution as well. We just need to think differently and in a creative way. Everything is possible.

The past semester I have lived and studied in the beautiful and vibrant city of Cape Town, South Africa. At the Vega Brand leadership school, I have focussed on ´Strategic Brand Communications´. How to build a brand identity and how can a brand communicate with its stakeholders and the public audience to gain a positive reputation.

I am looking forward to spotting signals for trends, creating concepts and challenge myself. I am excited to experience and practice the theories I get taught at school, in a practical business environment.  As part of the process of growing personally and professionally, I will face a lot of challenges for sure. I am sure I will get to learn a lot in a very international working environment without any borders.

Working for Wandering the future gives me the opportunity to do what I love, helping others, sharing knowledge and guiding them to prepare for all great things coming. I can show others, what the exciting future holds for them and create future-oriented, creative and innovative concepts together.

As of my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and discover new cities and cultures. Wherever I am currently living, I always try to stay up to date with what is going on in the world. When I discover new trends I love to try them out myself, but of course not all of them. The ones I don’t want to or I am not able to try myself, I like to find out why people would follow a trend? Even before that, how do we create new trends?

Let’s experience together, what the future hold for us.
